If anyone wanted to know about this series, I'd describe this episode. It's one of my favorites. Jim promises to Cheryl not to cut loose and reveal his persona as the Green Man but gets drunk and quickly forget his promise. Cheryl tries to stop him and gets in trouble in an incident that could only happen on TV. Jim's Green Man reminds me a lot of the fun-loving, beer-swilling parody of the Hulk that his brother John once played on SNL. He's not dangerous, but maybe a little irresponsible, but a lot of fun. Along the way, Jim dags down Dana's fiancee into the debauchery, adding to the fun and humor. With this kind of balance of humor and acting, it's more than obvious what makes this show such a hit!
