    Duff took a long time to grow on me. When he won the city scape competition that was good. I like his show a lot. Never could afford one of his cakes though. Mary Alice is the best.

    I like Mary Alice, she's funny. Duff's Cakes are amazing. I'd love to work with them I live in Baltimore too. Thatd be a fun job.

    Has anyone ever noticed that Duff actually doesn't make the cakes most of the time. He just fiddles around and tells people what to do on most of the episodes I've seen

    It is not your imagination. My husband has noticed that too.

    In the first season, there was Duff and a few fellow cake makers, with Mary Alice covering the desk. Charm City Cakes has added more decorators in each of the subsequent seasons, with interns in the back washing pans and baking the cakes. Duff still works, just not as much as before. He runs the shop, is the front man and does things to make the show successful.
