What was up with her? Why did she just fall off the show? I assume that there was a falling out or something, but it was odd that she was just, gone after 10 episodes.

Anyone have any ideas?

The show only lasted 13 episodes total and she was in most of them, including the finale.

yeah, but not counting the last episode, she was not in the 3 previous, and if you listen to the audio commentary on the DVD set, they say, "And there is Illena's stand-in, even actors on this shows didn't want to be on the show."

that is why i was wondering...

One of the other commentaries actually hinted at the problem: Douglas decided she didn't want to play a whore, even though thats the way the role was written when she took the part.

Which is why the Jenny (played by Erin Daniels) character was written in and pretty much stood in for Wendy's plot points. Thats why in the 'One Easy Piece' commentary, the writers keep saying how good Douglas looks whenever Daniels comes on screen.
