This episode is what hooked me on this show, and really, it deals pretty seriously with the aftermath of the injury that Adderly suffered while in action. At the beginning of the episode, Adderly isn't sleeping well and is having traumatic flashbacks and phantom pains from his injury. The department shrink suggests returning to the 'scene of the crime' as it were, in the hopes that making peace with what happened will help put Adderly's mind at ease.
Of course, this isn't entirely what's going on, as Mona accompanies him and they discover that they have been sent on a secret mission to extract a deep cover agent whose identity Adderly once knew... but had blocked along with the trauma of his injury.
There are some truly touching moment between Mona and Adderly, after a comic exchange with a chambermaid in their "honeymoon suite" (in East Germany, the honeymoon suites have sheets!), and the production even threw in a car chase towards the end for some adventure!
All in all, a good little episode, even if the real premise of the episode (traumatic flashbacks) is never really dealt with.
