Episode 2
AIRED:
As Adrian predicted, Tony Blair's New Labour win the British General Election by a huge margin and, as he also predicted, his beloved Pandora is easily elected as an MP. Adrian is half hoping that Pandora will agree to employ him as one of her team but that, of course doesn't happen. Instead, he is shocked to learn that Barry Kent's mother is going to be working for her! On top of that, so is his best friend, Nigel!

One thing that does make Adrian feel better is the new serial killer comedy he is writing for the BBC entitled 'The White Van.' He is certain it will be a runaway success and that the BBC will be absolutely certain to make it into a compelling comedy/drama.moreless

  • Tony Blair's party wins the election by the predicted massive margin and, of course, his beloved Pamdora wins her seat as the local member.

    8.0
Tony Blair is the new Prime Minister and everyone predicts great things from this chaismatic man. Pauline feels that 'Tony' will find George a job and that all of his sweeping reforms will bring Britain forward into the future.

As Pandora has her photo taken next to the new leader, Adrian weighs his chances of being taken on as one of her support team and is shocked and appalled to learn instead that Mrs. Edna Kent, mother of Adrian's old enemy, Barry Kent, (now a famous poet and writer) is going to be working for her instead!

As for Hoi Polloi, Adrian is not sure how much longer he can tolerate Peter Savage and his mood swings but perhaps he won't have to for much longer?

His main hope for the future lies in his newly written serial killer comedy, 'The White Van', which he is certain the BBC will want to pick up.moreless
