Good show one of the best Cartoon Network shows "I floop the pig"

At first when this show aired, it was very bleak, uninteresting, & weird for me, so I didn't continue with it after about 3 episodes. But suddenly, after about a certain later season, I watched it again, & it actually got a lot better. There is plot, story & development to the characters, making them much more interesting than one might think. It is definitely one of the greatest cartoons CN has made in a while, & makes up for a lot of the crap it has introduced in recent years *coughcough*JohnnyTest*coughcough*. Even one of my siblings said that this show got better, & he used to hate it at first. It is actually one of my all time favorite shows.



So all in all, the show is the greatest thing CN has offered since their last 4 good shows before being canceled, Camp Lazlo, Flapjack, Chowder, & My Gymm Partner's a Monkey.

When I had initially watched the show, I made my boyfriend's little brother turn the channel. The screaming was obnoxious, the characters were weird, and the episode I was watching had an abundance of fart jokes. I couldn't believe that this was the type of television the youngest generation would be growing up watching. However, when I think about the classic cartoons I loved Courage the Cowardly Dog, for instance, that pink little dog screamed every few minutes! Then, I finally gave Adventure Time a chance, and I realized it is actually quite an imaginative show! The artists must love the freedom they are given; I mean, literally any creature can exist in the vast land of Ooo.

I'm almost 20 years old, and I enjoy the show. The characters can be obnoxious, but they are genuine. It is rare to find a show today that has characters with genuine personalities. The show is unpredictable; you'll never know what will possibly happen next, and I love that. No, I am not a stoner, but I do know a few stoners who smoke and watch the show. Does that make Adventure Time a stoner show? No. Is Taco Bell a stoner restaurant just because a bunch of pot heads eats there? No.

If you are someone with an open mind to imaginative characters, and you are a fan of cartoons, I'd say give AT a chance.

Dislike me if you want, but this show is for people who need something to watch while smoking pot (don't take it seriously). Can't believe this is there top show.

LOOK this show is representing a Network that had pure comical cartoons that had meaning. This show is just (my opinion) is just a slap together of random proportions. Anyone notice that cartoons are changing. Can not see how this is representing generations of cartoon animation to come. Can't believe I got a dislike because of my true opinion. Ive seen better, I actually stopped watch Spongebob in 2010 because it became extremly weird. Why are people giving this 8,9,10s!!!!!!

I understand that not EVERYONE has to like this show- but do you all have to be so cynical about it? I've read my fair share of complaints about Adventure Time, and the main things people are complaining about is the animation, storylines, characters and general unfunniness. First of all, the show is drawn in a loopy, noodly, no edges kinda style that is really kinda cool when you think about it- how much anime-like stuff do you see EVERYDAY on CN and nickelodeon? (Don't get me wrong- I love anime!) This show's animation is pretty cool if you ask me. As for the storyline, well, you really just have to have an open mind and continue to watch the show for its entirety because it gets pretty interesting. For example- if you watched the first like three episodes of the show (as many of you JUDGY people did) you probably didn't pick up on the fact that this is post-apocalyptic, and Finn is the last human being on Earth. (NOT just a stupid kid playing around with his dog). He has to deal with that the whole series which is a fairly mature concept, for all you people saying that it's "childish" and "immature". There is also a whole backstory between Ice King and Marceline (Simon and Marcy) which develops their previously 2-D characters even more. This brings us to the characters. Does ANYBODY ELSE find it even SLIGHTLY amusing that the characters are made out of sweets? What other shows can you find that on? And, like I said, a great deal of the characters are more developed than anybody gives them credit for being. As for the funniness, I will concede that you kinda DO have to have an odd sense of humor- you have to like randomness and quirkiness and things of that nature. It's silly! It's out there! There are adult themes that children may not understand!

Just a few other little things:

1. Yes, I am sure the show would be great to watch when high. So would SpongeBob, or TMNT, or pretty much any other cartoon.

2. If you actually get past some of the weirdness in the episodes, you will find that it can be entertaining, fun, and ADDICITIVE. I'm not kidding.

3. This show actually has some emotion behind it, if you don't mind me saying, that, in my opinion, is extremely reminiscent of PIXAR and other visually, emotionally and critically amazing movies.

4. The smartness behind some of the characters and storylines also reminds a liiittle bit of Animaniacs.

I love this show, silly and fun. Everything about it says kids show but many of the jokes are clearly not for kids. If you're looking for a show to kill time and enjoy then give it a shot. Best of all is the fact that each episode last 11 min's or so, makes for quick viewing or easy marathon material.

When I first tried watching the series when it came out, I couldn't even finish it. Totally felt like I was wasting my time. When a friend convinced me to try again this year, I still felt like I was wasting my time, but was able to look past that to what the show was doing. It's true that Adventure Time does a lot more in 11 minutes than most shows do in an hour, but it's still incredibly juvenile and crude. Hands down, the Ice King is the most well-developed character, though it takes time to emerge. The show isn't a complete waste of time (though I do still tell people I'm rotting my brain watching it), but it's not the best thing out there, either.

What i think of Adventure Time is that it is a good show to watch. A new episode that i would want to watch is that The alternate genders of the main characters,Fionna, Cake, Marshal Lee, Prince Bubblegum, and some other from the Land of aaa stories to meet the real main characters of the Land of ooo and to live with each other for the rest of the episodes. The episode should be about how the Ice King found a way to make the alternate genders real. One way i would think to make the fake characters real would be for the Ice King to meet Prismo of the time cube and wish to make them real. If that is not a good way to you, please thinks of a better way. Please consider my request and make my dream episode a reality.

Ever since adventure time aired, I have LOVED this show. This show is funny, yet emotional in some episodes, such as "I Remember You" and "Simon and Marcy". The backstories are AMAZING and I hope for many more episodes to come.

This show was once a good show. There were many good episodes. I remember watching it in 2008. I thought it couldn't run for more than 1 season at first. Then, in September, Season 2 aired. I thought it couldn't really last longer than this. This is also when the show kinda fell. Then, Season 3 Aired. After watching about like, dozen episodes this Season, i quit watching. Things just got really bad. Then, there were 15 more episodes this Season, I watched them. After Season 3 ended, i was like "Wow dude, seriously. No more. I'm getting pissed off at this". Then, Season 4 came. Things got REALLY bad here. Ugh. Writers, I am ashamed of you. You could end the series like, 18 months ago. Season 5 totally sucks. The show has gotten so bad after the first half of Season 2. The cast should be ashamed.

However...

Season 5 sucks even more then the first 4 seasons! I changed my mind on Season 5! It's even worse than Season 4!

This is totally a 0 because of how bad the second half of Season 2, Season 3, Season 4, and Season 5 were. Not even season 1 was really interesting. Seasons 2 2/2 - 5 were such a shame. At least the 8th episode of Season 2 made a little sense. BUT STILL, ZERO FOR JAKE AND FINN THE ANTI HEROES!

Some people might not like the humor in this show but it is halarious. The "weirdness" in this show isn't all that weird, moslty because it makes the show funny! This show can be weird at times,,,,,,,,but it doesnt matter because of how funny it is. My 22 year old brother has loved this show for 3 years now. This show has a unique humor that makes it different from any other tv show out there. Im tired of stupid kid tv shows that are just plain weird and abnoxious. This cheese and equally as weird humorous show may not be for everyone, speaking for myself the first time i watched it i did not like it, and couldn't figure out why people enjoyed it. Then a while back i gave it another try and did enjoyed it, plus had a couple of laughs. This show takes a bit to get into, but its worth giving a try.

I usually don't watch Cartoon Network but I heard 2 Cartoon Network shows called Regular Show and this show. After I finished watching all episodes of Regular Show, I watch the first episodes of Adventure Time and I liked it. I really liked this show so much but not a perfect show like Regular Show. This show is about Finn and Jake's adventures. I think that's a great idea for show. I like all of main characters of this show. Finn is the only human in this show and he liked go on adventues. He used to has a crush on Princess Bubblegum but he is in love with Flame Princess now. I think Finn is a good chracter but I don't like when he sings. Jake is Finn's best friend and he is a magic dog. He can stretch or shrink. I think that's awesome. I think Jake it a bit better than Finn. Other main characters are Princess Bubblegum, Ice King (Simon) and Marceline the Vampire Queen and I like them too. Some episodes of this show are so awesome but some episodes are really boring. Some characters' voices are so annoying like Ghost Princess', Lady Rainicorn's, Beemo's voices. I really don't understand what Lady Rainicorn says. Also some episodes are not for kids. I don't recommend this show and Regular Show for kids. The animation of this episode is good, the humor of this show is great. I think Gunter the Penguin and Ice King are the funniest characters of this show and they always crack me up. Both of them are my favorite characters of this show. This show is a good show too but boring sometimes, especially some of season 4 episodes. And so far I liked season 5 of this show. I hope new episodes doesn't bore like season 4. 8.5/10

This show is awesome and funny and action packed! This show is for probably ages 9+. The show has a incredible amount of action. The only problem is this show can be kind of stupid sometimes. This doesn't beat Ninjago because the show doesn't got any soul in it. Ninjago does. The show is one of the best cartoon network shows and I recommend it. Rating: 8.5

I am so fascinated by the beautiful drawings that I am afraid that no sound track could do them justice. So I have never listened to the sound at all. I can pretty well follow the action without it. So I can't give a full review! I just love the drawings, though.

If you just give it a try it's an amazing show, only amazing people understand it and like it. Watch it from the first episode and it's easy to understand and eventually you'll love it. At first I thought it was the weirdest thing ever (and it is) but it's the best show ever! :D

This is the best show ever! It's super funny. Some (super lame) people say regular show is better(it is totally not!) than adventure time but they are clearly wrong.

This show is really like nothing I've ever seen before. Everything in it is just so... unusual. How many shows have you watched that have candy-people, magical dogs, and old men that possess the power of ice?



PLOT: A boy named Finn and his dog (Jake) go... well, on adventures. As simple as that.

CHARACTERS: All of the characters are pretty likeable.

ANIMATION: Moves fluidly ad smoothly, so it's good.

HUMOR: The jokes are okay. They don't really make me laugh a whole lot, but they do make me laugh occasionally, which is still good on my watch. There is a lot of fart/bathroom humor though, and that isn't okay.

ROMANCE: I'm kind of confused on this part. I mean, Finn liked Princess Bubblegum (who rejected him), but then he moved onto Flame Princess, but now Princess Bubblegum likes him? I'm really not sure where the romance plot is going exactly. But the romance episodes are really the best, in my opinion. Like "Fionna and Cake" and "Burning Low", the romance parts can be really well-written.

There are... problems with this show. And they aren't necessarily so big that they make this show hard to watch, but here's my main issue:

The episodes often don't make much sense. And I like it for things to make sense. I mean, really. Some of the plots for episodes are just too random for my likings. A good example of this is (I can't remember what the episode was called) Finn has this weird problem with clown nurses, and he runs around Ooo screaming "MY WAY". That episode was .

But overall, it's a pretty good show, and I suggest that you at least try it out.

I heard alot about adventure time so I thought I would give it a shot of watching it. So I watched the pilot and thought it was horrible and hated it and thought to myself the whole show better not be like this. Then I watched the first two episodes on you tube and found them quite good but at the same time strange and they drag on a bit. Overall I find this show worth giving a shot at watching but there are alot better shows out there to be honest. I can see myself still watching this show if its on and im bored.

I don't wanna say this show is lame, but it's not the best of shows. Regular Show is better but I like this show. The problem with Adventure Time is that, it just lowers in humor. There is just really stupid episodes like The Silent King, Crystals Have Power, Blood Under the Skin and The Eyes. Also, Adventure Time is stealing Regular Show's style. Like the writing in Crystals Have Power. They also started saying "Yeah-uh!" which is Mordecai (Regular Show)'s catchphrase. Also, Finn said "I'm not gonna spank your hams" when people showed Finn their butts so he could spank them. I believe this is similar to when Rigby said "We don't wanna pull our hammies, you know what I'm saying" (Season 1, Episode 4) . Although, there different because Finn was talking about butts and Rigby was talking about hamstrings. I think Pen Ward is stealing JG Quintel's material. In conclusion, Season 1 is the best, Season 2 sucked and maybe Season 3 will be better. I'm starting to not like this show...

This show has got to be the most overrated cartoon on Cartoon Network, I don't understand why everyone likes it. I don't think I like it, I think it would more likely be the ''Interesting to watch'' side for me. There are barely any jokes or slapstick, and any jokes they make fall completely flat, I mean the writers have no concept of timing. Despite having a talented cast of voice actors, the voice acting just falls flat and is nothing special.



The plots are unfunny to me. They just make me go ''What the hell?'' most of the time. For some reason I do like Marcaline's voice actress though. Here's why I think this show is bad. The animation is awfully bright, and horrid. I don't really like a lot of cartoons where they're super bright, and I don't really like cartoons with drawn backgrounds, which is what this show appears to have. I like cartoons with painted backgrounds. The drawing style is ugly in my opinion. I hate bug eyed animation. Finn doesn't even look like a human, I mean come on, that was my drawing style when I was like 4 or 5. Unless they're trying to appeal to little kids style animation, I seriously don't get it. Just when you thought CN was being dragged down to the hell with all their crappy shows recently, along comes this show. The story is very unoriginal. The whole "Save The Princess concept" is far too overused. (Mario for I would only think it would be okay if this show was just 5 minute shorts. Also, this show feels like Legend of Zelda today. This reminds me too much of Legend of Zelda because of Finn's appearance of his sword.



I am sick and tired of all the fantards bashing on me for just sharing an opinion. I have nothing against you if you like this show, but just don't bother flaming me, flagging me, or giving me loads of thumbs down, because you will just make me hate the show even more, and you will make yourselves look like obnoxious assholes.

Like some of CN's new shows, their previews look bad. However, the actually show itself is very enjoyable and makes a good time waster. Then there's some where the previews are bad, and the shows are terrible as well. Adventure Time, I would say, kind of falls into both categories. The show itself is not bad, but there's not much thought put into this. The show has some good factors. 1. The characters are pretty descriptive. The second thing is that voices fit well, the lip syncs are matched, and the animation flows smoothly. But there are flaws that keep this show from getting better. One thing is the fact that the artwork is kind of unoriginal, and theenvironmentslook too colorful. But the major flaw is the fact that this show gets quickly repetitive. Like Penguins of Madagascar, the humor gets old very fast, and many of the plots come off as rather rehashed, or the fact that they come off as bland or weak. The environments start to becomerepetitiveas well and the dialogue can getawkward at times. The main issue I have is that the show isn't really that funny. The humor did start off good, but got quicklyrepetitiveand most of the time, it resorts to violence and fistfights to offer a chuckle. And while it does work on the first time, it becomes seriously annoying after the second time.

Altogether, Adventure time has some redeeming factors, but its just too bland for my taste. It is good, but the fact that there is no special characteristics about this show makes it really hard to distinguish this show from many other shows. Watch it if you must, but there are far better shows on CN now.

Animation: 7/10 The animation does flow nicely, but it seems to colorful.

Voice: 9/10 The voices fit very well, and the lip syncs are on cue.

Entertainment: 7/10 Other than some entertaining fistfights, and a few enjoyable jokes, the show isn't really that entertaining at all.

Lasting Appeal: 6.5/10 Started off good, but got increasingly repetitive from there on.

At first, I didn't want to watch this show because of the animation, but I watched one and realized my horrible mistake. This among one of the best shows on CN, and is almost as good as Regular Show.

The show is humorous, set in a fantasy world, the main villain Ice King is very complex when you think about it, I enjoy Finn and Jake's adventures. The only time this show shows any darkness is when the Lich is the main villain of the episode.

Overall, this show is amazing and it is one of the shows that redeems CN in spite of all the crap they've aired like Incredible Crew.

This show is very random yet very whimsical, great plots and emotion that is really played out. Also very creative and entertaining for the audience.

Random show akin to robot chicken with continuous plot lines and emotive peaks at times, absolutely love it.

I reviewed this before. But like with Regular Show, I decided to watch more of it to see if I maybe judged to soon, and I did. So here is my re-review of Adventure Time.



Adventure Time is about a boy and his magical, talking dog, who go on crazy adventures around the land of Ooo (I still think thats a dumb name). The show's plot is a good one, but a lot of the episodes were a bit disappointing. However, the humor of the show makes up for it a bit in my opinion, even though a lot of it is inappropriate. Some of the street slang the characters use though is a bit stupid though.



The main characters are pretty likable. Finn's a cool kid, but his hat is probably one of the stupidest things I've ever seen. Jake's cool also, and powers are interesting. and Bubblegum and Marceline are both cool girls. But Ice King shouldn't even be considered the main antagonist with how much he'll sometimes get along with Finn and Jake. Seriously half the time they fight, then they'll turn around and act like the best friends. Plus, he's not so much a threat, as a nuesence.



My biggest problem with Adventure Time is its animation. Its one of the ugliest animation styles I've ever seen. It looks like the show was drawn by a 4 year old. Apart from those problems, its got great voice acting. It also has some pretty good action scenes. Its a lot better than shit like Amazing World of Gumball, Johnny Test, and Mad. Adventure Time is still an overrated cartoon, but its better than I gave it credit for before, and Its by far Cartoon Network's best show right now.
