1/1/00It is Christmas season in Spring Valley, and Annie is elected president of the Drama Club. Because of that,her desire to make profit blinds her into seeing the true meaning of Christmas. The club won't be performing their traditional play,A Christmas Carol, or donate any money to the orphanage. So when Annie goes to bed, she dreams that she is the Scrooge in London from Charles Dickens's story.moreless
- 1/1/98Zach's embarrassment of a replica piece his dad brought from Egypt makes him think that it is too lame to be entered in the history fair, and he tells people the replica is real. Plato tells the story of The Boy Who Cried "Wolf!", and Zach discovers how keeping his integrity means to be honest.moreless
- 1/1/98Annie's snowboarding bravado gets the better of her when she bluffs about going down the most dangerous mountain. Ari tells Annie the story of how Slue-Foot Sue tried all she could to marry Pecos Bill and how she found out about humility.
Zach's excitement about the new kids movie cable channel interferes with his school studies and chores. Even worse, Zach and Annie go overboard on watching movies and eating junk food. Plato tells them the story of The Cat and the Parot which teaches them the meaning of moderation.- Annie receives a postcard from a friend who moved to New york. But becomes glum and wishes she could live in New York but a story Plato helps her to feel gratitude.
Annie volunteers to take care of her Aunt and Uncle's garden while they went on vacation. But when she decides to play with her friends than take care of her responsibility, the garden goes to seeds.
Zach's obession with his new video leaves him unprepared and embarrased for a troop camping trip because he didn't read the manual.- 1/1/98When Zach feels threatened by a new comer on his track team and feels like he has to compete with him rather than try befriending him, Plato tries to explain to him the true meaning of friendship by telling Zach the story of How Robin Hood Met Little John.
When Zach and Annie have a race on a trail, Annie is left behind and feels discouraged. So, Annie goes up to Plato's Peak and Plato tell her the fable of The Tortoise and the Hre to teach her about perseverance.
