      • wouldn't the chaos emeralds be found also in the present in the river of time Edit
      • A girl that appears in this episode is a re-color of Breezie. Edit
      • This episode is the first part of the "Quest For The Chaos Emeralds" mini-series. Edit
    • Notes

      ADD NOTES
      • In the Sonic the Hedgehog games, Sonic has to collect seven Chaos Emeralds. (Colored red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, and clear respectively.) There were only four Chaos Emeralds mentioned and all of them appeared to be colored the same. Edit
      • Sonic Sez: Don't play with sharp objects like swords. Edit
      • The way Sonic time-travels in these episodes is similar to how he does it in Sonic CD. The big difference however, is that in Sonic CD he needs to pass by posts that say "Past" or "Future", and needs to run really fast and maintain that speed for a certain amount of time before the warp starts. With the atomic-relativity boots, he is able to "circle the planet at the speed of light and enter a time warp", as explained to him by Professor Canine-Stein. Edit

      • Black bot:To Sonic)Any last words? Sonic: In fact I do (sings) rock-abye blackbot on the flagtop when sonic spins get ready to flop (sonic performs his spin attack on flagtop) when the top breaks the pirate will fall and down will come Blackbot (Blackbot falls) pegleg and all) Edit
      • Robotnik: Remember Scratch, Grounder, watch out for the booby traps! Grounder: Booby traps? Ha! What does he think we are? Boobs? (Gets stuck in a booby trap with Scratch) Edit
      • Scratch: Give it up, you scoundrel! I'm a black belt. Blackbeard: Oh yeah? Well I'm a blackbeard! (Defeats Scratch with nunchucks) Edit
    • Allusions

      ADD ALLUSIONS
      • "Canine-Stein"

This an obvious pun on "Einstein". Canine-Stein's "atomic relativity boots" are also an allusion to this famous theory.
