As we all know, crime appears in all forms. Most superheroes are charged with the mission of fighting violent crimes. But that makes other forms of crime no less interesting, particularly when it is mob or gangster related. Drug cartels and gambling syndicates commit crime as well, and for this, the Superman genre has a place as well as the organized hold-up man.

Perhaps a non-violent episode comes off as less interesting, because we don't have a victim whose life is endangered. There is no scene where the damsel is untied from the railroad tracks just seconds before an on-coming train.

But racketeering is as much organized crime as a bank robbery. I'm thankful that the producers devoted an episode to bringing this to our attention.
