Lois always wanted to marry Superman. In this episode she does, too bad it is only a dream. Lois falls asleep answering love letters for the paper, and dreams she marries Superman. In her dream Superman tells her he is Clark Kent, something she was suspicious about for years. Noel Neill gives a fabulous performance when she wakes up and realizes it was just a dream. George reeves does an outstanding job as both Superman, and Clark Kent. A humorous scene between Lois and Clark, and some classic moments between Lois and Superman.

Lois asks Superman to bring her some edelweiss, and must confirm that he knows what edelweiss is. Though edelweiss is widely known today, this episode was aired three years before Rogers and Hammerstein made the flower familiar to American audiences through The Sound of Music.

The bad guys attempt to conceal a bomb in a wedding cake. Worried that Superman may use his x-ray vision to see it through the cake, they line the cake with lead. Had Superman attempted to see through it and couldn't, wouldn't he wonder why something everybody was going to eat was lined with lead?
