    • QUOTES (4)

      • Beta Flight Controller: Buzzwang, please advise as to the nature of your mission!
Baby Buzzwang 2: We're going for pizza!

      • Little Zach: (trying to get inside the ship) We would like you to open up!
Explorer Ship AI: Oh, very well. All my problems began when I was a nuclear particle splitter at Twelve Mile Island...

      • Buzzwang: Q-Ball, did you speak to Commander Walsh? What did he say?
        Q-Ball: I'm sorry, Buzz.
Buzzwang: It's because I'm mechanical, right?
Q-Ball: It isn't enough just to want to be a Ranger, the badge must be earned.

      • Buzzwang: (sadly) Little Zach, Beta will never let me become a Galaxy Ranger. Face it, I'm just a machine, a tool.
Little Zach: Buzzwang, my father Zachary is half machine, and he's a Ranger!
Buzzwang: Well, I suppose if I were half human I'd have half a chance.

    • NOTES (0)

    • ALLUSIONS (2)

      • Q-Ball: (picking up Buzzwang's detached head) Alas, poor Buzz.

This is a nod to the soliloquy by Hamlet in Shakepeare's play which begins, "Alas, poor Yorick. I knew him well, Horatio..."

      • Explorer Ship AI: All my problems began when I was a nuclear particle splitter at Twelve Mile Island...

In 1979, there was a partial meltdown at the Three Mile Island Nuclear Power Plant, a situation that seems to fit the AI's sob story pretty well.
