The careers of all the actors involved went into the toilet and none were ever seen or heard from again.

I think the reason why the ratings were low because:

    1) It wasn't as funny
    2) It only had some of the M*A*S*H characters and not all of them
    3) It wasn't attention-getting

I wasn't a M*A*S*H fan like I am now, but I can think of one guest star that probably would have caught attention--Frank Burns. Can you imagine what it would have been like to encounter that idiot after all those years?

I know, he could've been a good guest star.

I once wrote a fic wherein Soon-Lee traded places with Star Trek Deep Space Nine's Keiko O'Brien, both of course played by Rosalind Chao. But outside of fiction like that (even without crossovers) we can simply assume that their lives began to settle down. Things I like to think happened :

1 - Max settled his mental problems from the 2nd season and he and Soon-Lee found a house.

2 - Potter used his army connections, became the new head of General General and cleaned house.

3 - The original Mrs. Potter came back.

4 - Radar left the St. Louis PD and joined the police in Riverside.
