David Suchet himself has confirmed that there will be at least 4 more new episodes of Poirot made. 2 of these are believed to be Mrs McGinty's Dead and Dead Man's Folly.

but last I heard the other two could also be Hallowe'en Party and Third Girl, not Appointment with Death and Murder on the Orient Express. Well, we will see soon enough what they are filming. The other two are confirmed.

I hope the new ones include Inspector Japp, Miss Lemon and of course Hastings, I appreciate that Poirot is what the movies/episodes are about but the extra characters for Suchet to play off really add a huge amount and the ones without them are IMO much, much flatter

The two latest Poirot episodes, Mrs. McGinty's Dead and Cat among the Pigeons will air on PBS in USA this summer. There are no specific air dates yet, but you can sign up for a Newsletter at his web site that might keep you informed.

As I have said in another thread, I welcome any new Poirot movies, but I think they could be making an error by doing 'Orient Express'. Suchet is brilliant as Poirot, but he would be opening up comparisons between himself and Albert Finney, who was nominated for an academy award for the role. Also, does ITN have the budget necessary for such a screenplay? I'd rather see them make 'Labors of Hercules', and all the other full length stories, including 'Curtain'.

Ohh, I'm looking forward to Cat Among The Pigeons. It was filmed at my school last November, and a lot of people I know in lower years were selected as extras, which will be insanely cool. I had to walk through a film set to get to Biology.

We were told it wasn't airing until much later in the year though, so I'm glad it's in April and not, like, October.
