Show Summary

Agro's Cartoon Connection was an Australian children's show that was shown on weekday mornings. The show was primarly hosted by Agro an ill-mannered, bad-tempered puppet played by comedian Jamie Dunn. Agro was assisted by talented co-hosts over the years. Anne-Marie Biggar, Michael 'Gibbo' Gibson, Ian 'Crikey the Clown' Calder, 'Ranger' Stacey Thompson, Terasa Livingstone, Holly Brisley. The show while on the air received 7 consecutive Logie Awards for Most Popular Children's Program from 1991 to 1997.

  • My favorite childrens cartoon show while I was growing up.

    Agro was the coolest puppet on TV!

    I love how he made fun of his female co-hosts and always pulled tricks on them.

    The cartoons shown were always the popular ones of the time with variety to appeal to both young girls and boys.

    Agro was cool because he was cheeky and sometimes a bit naughty!
