Both Kaoru and Aoi are found within a train together, heading towards a place that Kaoru treasures so much. Aoi then discovers it's within a cemetary, where Kaoru's mother lies resting peacefully. Kaoru then feels guilty for not knowing clearly the face of his own mother, and later on introduces her to the most deareest person in his life, Aoi. Everyone's at ease, except for Miyabi. What appears to be Aoi's father is furious that she encouraged Aoi into a deep relationship with her lover, and demands her to come back home. She was mislead into thinking it'll be a simple family visit, but she hasn't returned for a couple days now, and everyone's growing concerned for both Aoi and Miyabi. Kaoru then starts have nightmares, where he's found chasing his mother. The nightmare after, he finds himself in the exact same situation, except now it's with Aoi, who's saying farewell to him.

Now he's where it gets good. Kaoru, who interprets these dreams into a sign that he'll never see Aoi again, starts to go after her. Conveniantly, Miyabi is there to escort him to where Aoi is. During the ride there, Miyabi explains her feelings to Kaoru, saying how he hurt her unintentionally. Miyabi did her best to commit all her hard work to Aoi, but she did nothing but talk about this Kaoru Hanabishi character. No matter how hard she tried to get close with Aoi, only Kaoru was in her mind. This made her hate him before they even met. She gets discouraged everytime she sees Aoi work so hard for Kaoru, and even more heart-twisting when Miyabi sees her as happy as she is. Though she realizes that Aoi is the one for Kaoru, and tells him that she will protect him.

Almost everything about this episode was awesome. The whole scene where Kaoru prays to his mother's grave and bringing Aoi with him was quite emotional. The dreams Kaoru have were also something special that words cannot really describe. I also loved Miyabi's perspective towards Aoi and Kaoru. It seems completely understandable and realistic for such views to be like that. This is the only episode so far that made me eager to watch the next.

    • Kaoru: I remember how kind my mom was, but even so ask anything else and I honestly wouldn't know what to tell you. So when I come here I bring things that I imagined she liked and I also try to imagine what she was like, but if you stop and think she may not be anything like the mom in my imagination. Maybe I'm just holding onto that image because it's more convient.
Aoi: I don't really believe that's the case.
