Ikki is a 13-year-old orphaned boy living with three orphan girls. One of the girls, Mikan, is part of an extreme sport known as Air Treck. Air Treck is an extreme form of rollerblading, but it uses a powerful, micro motor that allows the user to travel at fast speeds. Ikki tries out a pair of ATs. After finding out that he is actually pretty good at Air Treck, he forms a 'Storm Rider' gang with his friends and the mysterious girl known as Simca.

air treks are possible to make all it would take is a touch phone pressure pad to stop and go faster and a tiny high powerful motor and some wires to run through the motor to the wheels to make it move the max u could probably get out of theses is 50 to 65 miles per hour but its just a thought oh well...
  • Great show - real air treks possible?

I love this anime, the ending of the series is good for another season, I'd watch every episodes of season two if they came out with it. And to hell with regular roller blades, I hate them, can barely ride them due to what I way. Air treks however could give us a little push for any of us with difficulties in roller skating, and more speed and better sport. Even though it's an anime like other shows, this one has potential for a second season.

I can't wait for the second season if there making one, better yet, I can't wait for Air Treks or something similar to them in the future. Until then...... KILL THEM DEAD!!!!moreless

Awesome, funny, pervy, cool and just filled with badasses. Air Gear is an anime that should have had more episodes. Still one of my favs anyway.
  • Air Gear is an awesome show. I wish that rollerblades were like that in the real world. If they were, I'd be the fang king. I don't watch this show, but I read the manga, because I believe its much more better. I really like Ringo, because shes funny.moreless

Air Gear is a fun, packed adventure for all kids. With the knowledge it contains, it can spellbind any kids under 10, possibly adults. Air Gear has many qualities to it. Such as Rollerblades, that interact with the teenage audiences, and then it has intelligence, which interacts with adults audience. There are many target audiences, that are preferred for this show. With the many tricks they show, it amazes the younger audiences and the issues they face within Air Gear, such as love and hate, are the same things humans face today. So I recommend this show is for everyone.moreless
  • Motorized rollerblades, enough said.

This series is truly revolutionary in its creativeness. The down side is that the story is so massive that it cannot all be told through the anime. At most I think that the anime gets about 1/3 of the way into the story line. This series is very well done with loveable characters and a sport that through your imagination you can really get into. By the end of this 26 episodes I was really caring about Ikki and the others and I am still curious as to how high and how far he will fly. The only thing I can guarantee is that where he goes Ringo with be there with him. Granted they my have to fight in the future but when it is said and done I believe that their friendship and relationship will be stronger than ever. The thing that impressed me the most is that Ikki isn't doing this for fame or control of the storm riders he is doing it because he loves to fly. I hope that they continue the series considering that the "last" episode has an extremely weak ending. Here is hoping!moreless
