    This show is such a blatant rip-off of Jet Grind Radio aka Jet Set Radio.

    At least they chose a great game to steal from.

    i agree with them being inspired by jet grind radio...but this show just takes that lame idea and makes it kick ass

    it's the same idea. rocket inline skates and team based rivarly. But Jet Set Radio had a better animation style, better music, and included graffiti art. Meanwhile Air Gear has stickers and pins. how cool

    but wasnt jet grind radio a video game? So they didnt take the idea because it wasnt an anime.

    I didn't really care about Air Gear for the first time. I only started liking it when I found out that Akito's wrapped hands isn't just fashion (yeah, I like story things!). And it wasgrown when it's shown that she (/he) has multiple personality (and turned out to be possessed twin, butI haven't see it directly, I watch animax asia). The action is quite cool butonly it is not enough to make me a constant viewer.

    In a nutshell, I only watch it to see Akito.
    Negatives: I don't really like Ikki and the blues sometimes placed in annoying places. (I don't like blues actually).If Akito quits the team I may won't watch it anymore.

    Agito is cool, but somehow I like Akito even more.

    Oh, by the way, what's Akito's age? Is anybody know?

    i love air gears as well but i wish kogarasumaru; ikki's team had at least two or three more people in it. Sometimes I think that if they had an extra person then some things could be avoided.
