Vidor's armed, camouflaged helicopters used in this episode are the same ones seen in episode 'Bite of the Jackal' previously, and some stock shots of them from that episode are also used here.
During the scene where String and Vidor are talking and having a drink, if you listen closely, you can here someone's watch beeping (it could be either String's, Vidor's, or someone on the filming crew).
(Dominic, pitching Airwolf's capabilities to the Loganas) Dom: Here we have machine guns, cannons, but I ask you, is she a beauty, or is she a beauty? And look at those lines! Seko: Yes, Mr. Santini, very asthetic I'm sure, but can it do everything you say it can do? Dom: I assure you Mr. President, she's pretty light on her feet. Seko: Hmmm.....tell me, Mr. Santini, how much is the FIRM paying you and Mr. Hawke to help defend us poor natives? Dom: Well, we're here because... well it's not costing you! Seko: Isn't it?
(After firing at the sniper) String: Just barely missed him. He's pretty fast on his feet. Seko: Fast on his feet... that must be his natural rhythm, insensitive to pain. String (Annoyed): I'll be in Airwolf. It's time to get out of here. Lea: Oh, Seko, you may as well have called him a racist. Seko: I thought I did! Lea, I say what I feel when I feel it!
Vidor: So much for the button pushers, right Hawke? Hawke Try and set her down, Colonel. Vidor: It's no use. Games. All games. Playing soldier of fortune. (Cough) Playing you. It's crazy. You wanna know the truth, Hawke? The crazy, rotten truth? I KNOW WHERE SINJIN IS!
In the 1980s, re-released in the 1990s, this episode was merged with 'Echos from The Past' to form a feature-length video release, 'Airwolf II: A Deadly Mission!' (on-screen title 'Airwolf II: The Search') buy CIC video. For more details on that release, see notes under 'Echoes from The Past'.
The sniper who is taking aim at the Loganas that Hawke chases off with Airwolf's guns, is the same person who was Mr. T's stunt-double in 'The A-Team', as well as playing B.A. (Mr. T)'s impostor in the memorable third season episode 'Showdown!' (1984) of that series. Both there and in this episode, he is uncredited (anyone who can confirm his name would be much appreciated).
