Airwolf

The story line is blah. But the acting, especially by the support cast, was great. The special brother relationship between two of the bad guys, the pregnant woman, and the other woman who hates the rich woman was well crafted into a short 1-hour episode.



At the end, when one brother kills his other brother out of brotherly love that Hawke empathizes with, is what makes Airwolf special and a cut above other 80's movies like Knight Rider, Manimal, Street Hawk, and others. It is the human - that relationships, the tears, the hardships in life - that makes Airwolf stand out from the rest.



The ending reminds me of "Bite of the Jackal" from Season 1 when Shannon Doherty's character was reunited with her father, and Hawk empathized it with his yearning to be reunited with his brother.



You can tell that now into the 3rd season, Hawk is more mature to not brood over the matter as he did in the 1st season. Much of his strong zeal he had in the first season in the search for his brother has tappered off in the 3rd season.



Just like in real life, as time passes by and little progress is made in the search for lost loved ones, we must go on with our lives. Hawk still hopes and yearns for his brother's return, however.
