Liddy Roley (Lad Technician) is surely some relation of episode writer / director Sutton Roley. (Knowing people in the right places sure does have its benefits!)

This episode gives strong indication Caitlin has romantic feelings for Hawke, something lightly touched upon for the first couple of episode when she was introduced in the second season, before they faded out. There is definate indication of such feelings from her here; but it is the last time it is touched upon in the series.

Catherine Hickland played Stephanie "Stevie" Mason on a trilogy of episodes spanning 'Knight Rider's run – the first season's 'White Bird' (1983), the second season's 'Let It Be Me (1984), and the fourth season's 'The Scent Of Roses' (1985, broadcast 1986). She was married to series star David Hasselhoff from 1984-1988, after they met filming the first episode of the trilogy.

Be it the loss of Bellisario, writer Sutton Roley wanting to try something new, or whatever, this story is rather different from anything the series has had up until now, with elements such as the brain-washing scenes almost feeling like something out of 60s 'Batman'.

'Airwolf' returned for a third season, but without Creator / Executive Producer Donald P. Bellisario, who left after constant disagreements with CBS over what he / they wanted to do with the series. He took with him Deborah Pratt (Marella), who by then was his wife.
With Bellisario's exit, much of the show's distinctive tone was lost, and while the series still produced some fair episodes, it was lacking the clever, often dark over-toned scripts of the first season. (However, the worst was yet to come, with the much-hated Canadian-produced 4th season!)
