  • Al Murray (The Pub Landlord) portrays some crazy and un-original characters in his new sketch show.

Even at this point in my review I am wondering where I am going to pull 100 words (min) out of my hat. Its seems that Al Murray has lost sight of the very thing that brought him to our undivided attention, the funny factor. I am a fan of his pub landlord persona, the patriotic mannerisms, the hate for the French, the sexism and crudeness of the character, it all adds to the humour. This show, however, fails to live up to his previous work. It lacks in original ideas, does little to relate to anything that is goin on in the "real world" and most dispairingly, lacks in any kind of humour. Waste of time, watch at your own peril!moreless
