Mozenrath enslaves the sprites to find a lost city that contains an enormous amount of power. Some sprites escape, and inform Aladdin and friends about whats going on. He comes to the rescue a stops Mozenrath.

In the middle of the episode, Mozenrath grabs Xerxes around the middle with his gloved hand. However, in the next frame which is a zoomed-in shot of Xerxes, the hand wrapped around the eel's middle is not Mozenrath's gloved hand, but his other 'normal' hand. It stays this way until the end of the scene.

Well, the appearance of what was under Mozenrath's glove was very brief in Black Sand, so there's a chance Al didn't get a good enough look at it like he does in this episode.
