The music box melody wasn't created for the show; it's a public domain tune. I've seen it used in ads. The song that played while Genie cooked scorpions in "The Ethereal" was also a public domain song.
Oh yeah, and isn't it convenient that they stayed up all night on the very night Mirage found that box? She's just a victim of bad timing...
Aladdin: How do ya beat this thing?
Mirage: That's the beauty of it. Ya don't!
(Aladdin takes sword from skeleton)
Aladdin: I hope this will help me more than it did you.
(Iago while dreaming)
Sultan: I have all of this gold! Iago, the great warrior, will you take some of my large amounts of gold?
Iago: I know it would insult you if I did otherwise.
Iago: I'm gonna queeze my pillow like a cousin...which it probably is.
This episode aired during the Princess Power Hour on December 10, 2005.
Final appearance of Mirage
Aladdin: Just put one foot in front of the other.
This may be a reference to the movie Santa Claus Is Comin' To Town, in which there is a song with that line. The movie is extremely popular. It is shown every year around Christmas time on ABC Family. The movie told the origin of Santa Claus and starred Mickey Rooney as the title character.
Genie: (while doing a book report) One Thousand and One Arabian Nights was a great book because...
1001 Arabian Nights was the book that Aladdin originated from.
