Melinda Gray is assigned by "The Westwood Babysitter's Service" to handle one of their toughest cases, Mr. and Mrs. Saunders must leave town for the weekend and insist on having a baby-sitter for their teenage daughter Judy. Melinda volunteers. Melinda realizes that Judy is embarassed over having a babysitter and wants her boyfriend John over to visit, but would rather not under the circumstances. Melinda devises a plan to help Judy, then learns that when you fiddle with the truth you must be prepared to face the music. Grandpa also has his eye on the whole situation with a few other wrenches thrown in for good measure.
