  • A great sketch show by the "fat b*****d" himself.

This is a highly underrated sketch show, which for three series was both very entertaining and not filled to the brim with swearing. One of the best parts about this is while Alexei would get a lot of the laughs, he had sketches where he would not appear at all, allowing his supporting cast members (including Angus Deayton, Jan Ravens, Mark Williams and many others) to take the spotlight. Alexei would also put his standup comedy ability to use, which helped vary the show, and he also proved he could sing (a memorable song being his "Shut Up" song from series 2). Overall a quality sketch show and you should buy the DVD set if you get the chance.moreless
