Show Summary

Gordon Shumway, last known survivor from the planet Melmac, crash-lands his spaceship into the Tanner family's suburban garage. Willie dubs him "ALF", short for Alien Life Form. • When in ALF, ALF your brains out!

    2.0
I grew up watching ALF, watching and wondering, wondering and sighing, sighing in a big stew about an ever-changing world and my growing uncertainty re: my role in it. These actors--probably the best actors I've ever seen--taught me so much, so many tangential, ethereal, effervescent solipsoid humor particles that rained down from Heav'n ere the morning dew did fall.

ALF. Let us not forget him. Was he a puppet, a man? An alien from planet AWESOME? In the end, only God truly knows. But He let us catch a glimpse, a mere, tantalizing nugget of perfection, and that, ALF, in the end, was my ALF, the true ALF, was ALF for all.

    Thank you, Lord.moreless

This show was simply awsome, its a real classic. So original. Great acting and real funny, remember growing up the Language was way off what i was allowed to say. It was cool to laugh like ALF.
  • The Best of the Best!

Just as many of the other commentators have pointed out, there are not many shows like this anymore. It was hilarious and each episode would brighten up one's day. Its humor wasn't derived from some nonsense like sex or fart jokes, but something better. It was family-friendly and actually taught life lessons in the show, instead of putting sex, drugs, and violence on a pedestal. I would recommend it to anyone.moreless
  • Is on My Top 5 TV Show

    10
I have to agree with a lot people here, this is a great show and too bad anyone makes a good TV shows anymore. Now all the TV Shows are about Sex, Money, Drugs, Crime, Killing not saying that's bad because unfortunately that's what happening in the world right now but some are too bloody. What happened with the family TV shows? But would it be AWESOME if NBC bring back ALF but as a new TV show let say from where season 4 ended. I know a lot people are going to be happy about it.moreless
