This is the episode of ALF that I remember most fondly. I'm recalling this from 1986 memory.
ALF contacts a blind woman who invites her to his apartment on a date. She is blind, so ALF has a chance to have a relationship with someone without being found out as an alien.
I recall this episode being quite funny and surprisingly touching.
After this episode I rooted for ALF to outdo CBS' Kate and Allie in the ratings, which it was opposite for some time in the anchor position on Monday evenings. It soon did.
This is one of those shows that falls out of favor after its initial run (probably due to overmerchandising) only to be rediscovered for what it originally was: a clever breath of fresh air with a delightful, rough-around-the-edges cast.moreless
