Lynn and Brian disappear from the séance scene after the lights go back on.
In the scene in which ALF, Kate, Willie, and Dorothy are all in the kitchen, a bowl full of cereal appears out of nowhere in front of ALF in between shots, and neither the bowl nor the cereal were on the table previously, and neither he nor Willie got up from the table.
The shot of what is supposed to be the exterior of the Tanner's house shown in this episode does not match up with other outside shots of their house, nor does it fit the interior layout of the home.
Willie: (discovering ALF ate the box of chocolates he was going to give to Kate for Valentine's Day) He ate the whole box. ALF: Whining's not going to bring it back! Kate: Willie, it's – it's alright. Maybe he, uh – (opens box) he did! He forgot the second layer. ALF: Right! I only licked those!
Dorothy: Am I wearing a sign that says "kick me"? ALF: No, but that can be arranged. Willie, get the staple gun! Ha! Dorothy: I am in no mood for you. ALF: (under his breath) What a coincidence…
ALF: (sending his favorite celebrities canned meat) Does Bob Hope still have teeth? Willie: ALF, forget it. ALF: You're right. A man that old shouldn't be eating pork.
ALF: Dorothy, I'd like to say something about this, and I don't mean to be too critical, but, uh, you're saving yourself for a corpse.
Dorothy: Oh, you humiliated me for my benefit! ALF: No. I didn't count on humiliation. That was kind of a bonus.
Willie: (hearing the voice of Dorothy's dead husband) It sounds like Teddy Ruxpin. The allusion is to Teddy Ruxpin, a 1980s talking toy teddy bear.
The title is derived from a Patti Labelle song with the same name.
