ALF imagines in black and white that he and the Tanners are silent-movie stars.
  • A classic ALF episode.

This is easily one of the best ALF episodes from early season three. At this point of the series, they were at their peak and the storylines just seemed to flow with ease always. This is no exception. When the episode ends you are wanting more and the time flew by. I like the silent film parodies in this episode, they are very clever and funny. The majority of the episode is set in a sort of "alternate universe" which is something you rarely see in sitcoms anymore. This episode still holds up almost twenty years after it originally aired. The film scenes are pure gold and show why ALF was one of the most innovative and original sitcoms of the 80s. This episode is highly recommended.moreless
