ALF

Willie informs the family that Lucky, the cat, must have died in his sleep. The family holds a funeral for him, and it is Brian who is the most distraught. Even though Willie tells him that he's welcome to get another cat, Brian doesn't have any interest in it. While the family is away at church, ALF calls a classified ad in the paper and gets some free kittens, longing to satisfy his Melmackian craving for cat. Furious, the Tanners keep him away from the kittens and meanwhile find them all homes. ALF grows attached in the meantime to one particular kitten, and when he's the last one left, ALF finds it difficult to part with him. Telling Willie that he ate the kitten, ALF tries to hide it in the garage. Willie and Lynn discover the truth and decide to allow ALF to keep the cat, which in turn makes Brian very happy, too.
