Wille: You didn't eat all the cat food did you? Alf: No way! I draw the line at intestinal byproducts.
[ALF is trying to hynotize Lucky] ALF: Your eyelids are getting heavy. You are getting sleepy. You are no longer a cat, you are a bagel. Willie: Hey Alf? ALF: Woah. You scared me. You ought to wear a bell. Willie: What's going on here? [ALF is holding Willie's watch] ALF: Uh, I was just teaching Lucky how to tell time. Show Willie what you've learned.
[Alf looks for food and pulls out a cookie] ALF: Look, here. Who wants a cookie? Brian: I do. [ALF looks at the cookie] ALF: I'll split it with you.
Willie: [about the food ALF ate] How can one little alien eat so much food?! ALF: I have been gifted with four stomachs.
This is the first time the main plot is based around Lucky.
Alf's note about Lucky mentions David Janssen. This alludes to the actor who played Dr. Richard Kimble on the 1963 series of The Fugitive.
In the animal shelter, Heidi calls her newly adopted cat Damien. This likely alludes to the main character of the movie The Omen and later sequels, in which Damien is the antichrist born in a human body.
Alf: (singing) I like the music that feeds my soul. I like that all time rock and roll The dancing around in a men's shirt and lip-singing to that song is a common allusion to the movie Risky Bussness.
