When Neal announces that he and Margaret are going to remarry, ALF stows away in their car to dissuade Neal from going through with it. On the drive, Neal has some time to reflect, and after arriving at a wedding chapel, Neal decides to break things off with Margaret. In the final scene, ALF and Neal discuss the previous night's events with Kate and Willie.

Neal shows up at the Tanners' place unnerved. His ex-wife, Margaret, has called him, wanting to reconcile. Unsure what to do, Neal looks to Willie for advice, only to hear biased counsel from those who dislike her. When Margaret shows up at the Tanners' place, she is considerably skinnier than she was when she left Neal and the two quickly succumb to old animal habits.
