This episode has so much going for it. We follow a really likeable sheriff of a small town follow the advice of a pretty woman citizen who insists her neighbor killed his wife. The sheriff is so believing that nothing ever happens in this town, that there is no chance anything bad has happened. As we watch the episode and follow the sheriff we start to think something might be wrong but have some doubts. The man who is accused of murdering his wife is mean, and almost crazy to some point. Why is he digging at night in his backyard? Why does he buy rat poison? Nobody can pinpoint what is happening. The ending is something you will never think will happen. Irony will play a role in the ending as well. A terrific episode.moreless
