  • Arthut Mannix is a hired killer assigned to murder another killer Hiram Price. When Arthur discovers the company is trying to put this as a contest he shows that he shouldn't be taken lightly.

Very morbid episode and yet fascinating at the same time. This episode while initially starting out as a standard story turns out to be a shot at companies in America.

The name of the killer's corporation is never given. They are just none as the "company". Arthur's contact is only known as "Rudolph", and Hiram's contact is only known as "Ernest". When the two find out what's going on they are disgusted with the company and yet still do the task. It's a funny episode with hints about underground corporations and how like real companies they can lie, cheat and manipulate their best assets. The question about loyalty comes out between the killers, and we know that loyalty in today's company doesn't mean much.

I think this made the episode a bit more interesting. Arthur completes his task and then sets his sights on finding "Ernest" while carrying his wishes of marrying a beautiful girl named Silvia who has no idea he's a killer.

In a way this episode could fall under guilty pleasure but there are commentaries there that make just another episode about murder.
