Bonnie's mother, Mrs. Daniels is a deeply disturbed woman who believes that Dave is a golddigger and trying to protect her daughter from this fortune hunter she informs him that Bonnie is underage and they must have their marriage annulled. Mrs. Daniels tells Bonnie that she will be disinherited if she doesn't stop seeing Dave.
