  • Unnerving, loss of control. Great acting from my recollection, especially the lead.

    9.0
Here I am, level 1 trying to write a review of an Alfred Hitchcock episode I have seen only one time 20 years ago.

The loss of control theme is one that scares me and this 30 minute episode is one long nightmare.

A reporter is arrested for a murder that was comitted 22 years ago and the detective will cut him no slack. There is more and more evidence so after awhile the man is totally unable to defend himself. This is some very good acting by the leads.

Seeing a man go from a normal unassuming person to a man on the verge of a complete breakdown is unnerving and I will not give away the ending.

If I can find this episode on dvd I plan to purchase the complete first season. This was a great anthology series and seeing the colorized exerpts of Hitchcock are a rare treat.moreless
