For a story that should be obvious, this one really surprises. Mark Hamill plays a man standing on a building ledge, ready to committ suicide because his wife was torn up with an affair she had.
Police try to coax him down, and eventually a specialist in psychology takes over the job. He convinces the jumper to recall his torment.
We learn that the wife was having an affair - with the psychoanalist! And Hamill's character realizes it to. He allows himself to be saved after convincing the specialist to walk out on the ledge with him. As he is being strapped in to a safety harness, Hammill's character gleefully pushes the doctor to his death.
