Well, this one was terrible. An extremely unpleasant entry. Nobody in the whole episode had any redeeming qualities. It was also rather confusingly plotted, but no matter, because you could not care about anyone, especially the leading (I won't call ger a lady, because she was anything but) woman.

The other characters were not defined enough, and I found myself asking who was who, and where did they fit into the storyline?

This episode should have had a much more appropos title: instead of "A Little Sleep," it should be entitled "A Big Slut." She got exactly what she deserved. Bottome line: It's horrible -- skip it.moreless

    • [Closing Narration]
Alfred Hitchcock: And he did, too. Naturally, Benny was properly punished as is always the case on this program. Next time, we shall be back again with more crime and punishment. Pax vobiscum.

    • [Opening Narration]
Alfred Hitchcock: (the picture is upside down, so it appears that Alfred is standing on the ceiling) Good evening. This is Alfred Hitchcock speaking to you from the bottom of the world. I mention this so that if snow should appear on your screen, you won't waste time adjusting your set. (a dog with a barrel around its neck wanders onto the set) Ah, man's best friend…and a dog, too! Even though I have all the comforts of home, I'm afraid that it is time for our play, and I wouldn't want everyone watching this standing on his head. (snaps fingers and picture rights itself and the dog disappears) Well, we seem to have lost the dog, but it's nice to feel the blood rushing to my feet again. Ladies and gentlemen, here, proper side up is our story: "A Little Sleep."
