Alfred Hitchcock: (Standing next to a large covered basket, holding a sword up to his face) Good evening. (claps, and a short man appears and steps into the basket. Hitchcock puts the lid on the basket, then proceeds to thrust his sword into the side of the basket, then two others. He claps again, but the man does not reappear. Hitchcock opens the lid of the basket and peers inside.) Good heavens! He looks like a toothpick on an hors d'oeuvres table. Oh, well, I'll guess I'll just have to practice some more. So much for the side show. Now turn your attention to the center ring, where you'll find our main attraction.
