  • A happy-seeming married couple are tormented by the alarming Mr. Moon, who can lose his temper so very easily, and who keeps on turning up in their lives.

    9.0
One of those it-isn't-what-you-think stories which this series specialised in, and which prove to be comic, but distinctly unsettling. It's very typical of Alfred Hitchcock to show us a yarn in which nothing's what it seems, to show us that it's dangerous (if not deadly) to go by appearances. The portly, small-eyed Robert Emhardt, often cast as dubious characters in this show, is on top form as the lightning-tempered Mr. Moon, who's got a real down on Biff McGuire's hapless husband and takes a sadistic delight in tormenting him. But - well, you'll just have to see for yourself. The wife, by the way, is played by Mary Scott, second wife of Hitchcock's old friend, Sir Cedric Hardwicke.moreless
