  • Poor directing/editing reduced this story from potentially excellent to mildly entertaining.

This could have been an excellent episode, but directing/editing were poor and didn't make the story believable. Instead of establishing that the boy interrupts other people talking, what actually happens is that during conversations, there is a lull, at which point the boy gives his two cents worth. There was no interruption, with only one exception. Also, when the boy receives the dollar and is told to put it somewhere safe, he puts it behind his belt, where it immediately starts to fall out. We know exactly what will happen.
On the other hand, it was wonderful to see Chill Wills giving stories about snowbound cowboys.
