Episode Recap

Eldon Marsh is at the country club where his boss and co-workers spend their time, when his wife Louise is introduced and dances with a new salesman, Wayne, who has just been hired. Uncomfortable with his wife's fixation with this new man, Eldon questions her back at home. Angrily, Louise denies her feelings. However, shortly afterwards, Eldon discovers that Louise has been unfaithful to him with Wayne. Eldon confronts Wayne publicly, who denies it and ends up striking Eldon when Eldon won't back down. The next day, Eldon must resign because he caused a scene at work. Meanwhile, his wife tells him that she is leaving him; however, she's outraged that she can't be with Wayne because everyone saw Eldon's antics.

Eldon pursues Wayne day and night, trying to get Wayne to confront him. Wayne insults him but refuses to fight him because Eldon is so much smaller. Eldon points out that the negative scenes are making Wayne look like a bully, and he challenges him to a dual with any weapon of Wayne's choice. Wayne refuses at first, but Eldon threatens to stalk him day and night until he leaves him alone. Wayne agrees to a rooftop dual with pistols. When he gets to the rooftop, Wayne guns Eldon down in cold blood. The police arrive and Wayne claims he shot Eldon in self-defense. A closer look at Eldon's lifeless body reveals that Eldon wasn't even carrying a gun.
