A war hero has a sobering experience before his return home.
  • I am a long time Hitchcock fan and I can't understand why the rating on this episode is so low. I think it was one of his finest.

Yes, the audio does not have the clarity that is available now and the accent makes the conversations difficult to follow for the first few minutes or so. However, if you wait it out and catch most of it, you will most likely enjoy the episode as much as I did. I have seen many, many of Hitchcocks television shows and movies and know his style very well. It has become difficult for me to be caught off guard by any of the endings. This episode was able to acomplish that. That makes it one of his best episodes in my book.moreless
