The title for this episode is an allusion to a line in the chorus of the Beatles song, Strawberry Fields Forever. The Chorus goes: Let me take you down 'cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields Nothing is real and nothing to get hung about Strawberry fields forever
In the book which Heyes is reading 'Life On The Mississippi' by Mark Twain, an early allusion to the detection of criminals by the use of fingerprints is made; this becomes an important motif in this episode.
