Episode Recap

In a rare joint alliance, Sydney and Anna Espinosa work together to memorize a 500-year-old binary code written by Milo Rambaldi before it is destroyed.

Once the code is deciphered, Sydney jets to Malaga, Spain, to a 500-year-old church to retrieve the "Golden Sun". She finds what she believes is the correct artifact within a stained glass window but before she can depart, Anna attacks her. A fight ensues with Sydney winning, handcuffing Anna to a pew.

Meanwhile, back in LA, Francie and Sydney stake out Charlie. Francie found a matchbook with a number and the name Rachel and she believes Charlie is "stepping out" on her. On the stakeout, they witness Charlie hugging a blond woman, getting into her car and driving off.

Sydney and Dixon are sent to Morocco to investigate a plot by Luc Jacqnoud to destroy the United Commerce Organization. While listening in on the meeting, Sydney's identity as a spy is revealed. A fight ensues and their contact, a friend of Sydney's, Bak Ibrahim, is killed.

Back at SD-6, Jack has a routine appointment with McCullough, and in a dream-like sequence it is revealed that there may be more to Sydney's mother's death than what is currently known.

Sydney and Vaughn debrief and Vaughn is upset to learn that Sydney thought he was married. He confesses to having a big fight with his girlfriend. Sydney smiles.

Sydney schedules dinner with her father but he stands her up. In her depression, she contacts Vaughn and he lets her know that she can always turn to him, if needed.

Sydney and Dixon go to Sao Paulo to protect Peace Prize winner Dhiren Patel but he collapses before they can reach him. He is whisked away by what appears to be paramedics but Sydney witnesses them implanting a bomb into his pacemaker.
