Sydney gets herself into trouble - first they are after some German scientist who worked on something secret and dangerous and now SD-6 tries to get their hands on it. Sydney switches the man but gets herself and the man into trouble. A lot of action involved and really great sequences of motion.. oh,. And I already forget the start - that was even more amazing, that ambulance and bomb inside the man.

And then the end - trying to get to the factory where the chemical is and trying to get out clear and Dixon having a secret plan and killing those agents..

And then Danny and his investigation of Kate Jones.. loved that development.

I think that this was the most explosive (no pun intended) ending that the show has had so far. The shocked look on Sydneys face as the words "Alias" came across the screen was enough to let everyone know how shocking and crazy this ending was intended to be. Dixon has begun to ask and probe questions towards Sydney about if there is anything that he should know. I think that the next couple of episodes are going to be huge as far as Dixon and Sydney go. She has begun to say that she doesn't think that she can do this anymore and we are only six episodes into a fresh show designed to take down one of the largest scams known to man - SD 6 a fake government agency. The personal life stuff continued to be a good filler as Will continued to look into the death of Sydneys boyfriend in the pilot episode. What is going to happen once he finnaly learns the truth I dont know, hopefully it doesn't end as badly as it did for her previous love. Another amazing episode from this series, nothing has been below a 9.0 so far

This episode is one of the truly great episodes that makes you just want to watch the next episode right away. Immediately, you're dumped into a situation where a bomb needs to be removed from someone's chest! There's also the thickening plot around Will's investigation into Danny's death. From there we have the ending, which is one of the best that I've ever seen in a show. It is shocking, and awesome at the same time. Everything at this point in the show was fully working, the chemistry was at its best and you wanted Sydney to take down SD-6 no matter what. A great episode!
  • Well That Can't Be Good...

Things have been going pretty well for Sydney since she signed up to be a double agent, so it's unsurprising that this episode makes sure she still has to live through a bunch of sadness and misery, with some huge mistakes that prove fatal for some of her fellow CIA agents...

More so that any episode before it, there's a real sense of danger that is in the background of the entire hour. Sydney's double agent duties have seemed like little more than a walk in a park so far, so it's exciting to see things go so badly wrong. The closing moments are shocking, and you completely feel sympathy for Sydney, who’s left almost frozen in shock. Jennifer Garner rocks in these types of moments, and her devastated expression is just too sad for words.

There was also a huge amount of action in this episode, which really showed how expensive Alias is. Starting with a nail-biting car chase which culminated in a car blowing up, and then the final sequence with the building explosion, it's interesting to see that, back in 2001, ABC had so much faith in this show, and weren't afraid to give them a huge budget to work with.

I also liked the characterization of Dixon in this episode. He immediately stuck up for Sydney when Sloane became suspicious of her allegiances, and told Syd at the Halloween party that she is in danger from her bosses. Carl Lumbly was always underused on Alias, but it's moments like those that really prove what a resourceful, caring character Dixon is.
