    Hi,

I'm confused about that season 4 episode where Anna returns. Sydney says that she thought Anna was dead, but I don't recall any such thing. In fact I don't remember what happened to her or K-Directorate at all. After some checking around, it seems that the last recorded appearance of Anna was in "Time Will Tell", but didn't that happen before the scene in the stadium (or maybe just before)?

Either way, I've read that the last mention of either her or K-Directorate before season 4 was in "Snowman".

Did they forget about that stuff or abandon it for new stories on purpose? I love Alias but before the end of even the first season, it got too wild, too messy, with too many loose ends that they leave hanging. Did I not pay attention or is that how it really is?

i think "The Man"'s organisation was slowly eliminating rival agencies (like FTL, SD-6 (almost)) and it was assumed they eventually got around to K-Directorate.

    according to WIKIPEDIA:

"K-Directorate is a criminal organization composed of former operatives from the Eastern/Soviet bloc. It acquired a number of Rambaldi artifacts, including the journal containing Page 47. One of its foremost agents was Anna Espinosa.

K-Directorate met its downfall shortly after the appearance of a new group led by a mysterious figure known only as "The Man". The Man had launched an attack on SD-6 and destroyed rival FTL. SD-6 learns of a meeting scheduled between The Man's criminal organization and K-Directorate in Moscow to discuss the sharing of Rambaldi technology. Sydney Bristow and Marcus Dixon are tasked to eavesdrop on the meeting. Julian Sark offers to transfer $100,000,000 to K-Directorate's Cayman Islands account. In exchange, Sark demands the Rambaldi journal. The offer is rejected by K-Directorate head Ilyich Ivankov, and Sark immediately assassinates him. The suddenly-promoted new leader of K-Directorate, Lavro Kessar, accepts the offer. At a briefing Arvin Sloane advises his team that the body of Ivankov was delivered to K-Directorate headquarters by freight, packed in a crate of North Atlantic cod. Kessar has vanished and Sloane assumes that Sark is holding him hostage against the delivery of the manuscript in Tunisia. Sydney intercepts the journal before Sark can take delivery. Kessar's ultimate fate is not revealed, although Sloane surmises that K-Directorate is likely to soon get another shipment of fish. The last time the organization is heard from as an active entity is when it hires an assassin called the Snowman to kill one Bentley Calder, a retired KGB mole and associate of Irina Derevko and Alexander Khasinau.

Little to nothing is heard of K-Directorate after season 1. In season 4, Jack refers to "the fall of K-Directorate." Anna Espinosa, presumed dead after the organization's fall, resurfaces in the same episode as a freelance operative.
