i think they should used 'rachel nichols' for the reboot, she was part of season 5 after all.

I dont think she is a strong enough character to hold the show.

that might be true, but it would be nice if they did give the her the part.

Wouldn't be the same without the cast. Also wouldn't be the same without at least a hint of the supernatural.

Otherwise it's just another spy show, but with a catchy-as-all-hell-name.

No, thanks. Whatever they churn out would be an in-name-only abomination. The first 2 1/2 seasons of Alias were excellent, and the show could not stay above water without the original characters and cast dynamics. That said, if they decide to do this, it would be unwise to water down the sci-fi elements of it; no Rambaldi, no go.

I think if they do remake Alias they would really have to go all out and find a new way to pull us in. Because without the origional cast they would really really need to step up there game!

While i would watch the reboot, it would not be the same without the cast, as i have found that with J.J. Abrams works, that his characters generally outshine that of the actual story. Ex. Lost; Immortalized most of the cast, but after the first 3 seasons, completely lost its ****
