Did DVD sales ensure season 3 was made?

    Hi,



    i'm doing an essay/paper on fandom and at the time, i remember hearing that Alias was almost cancelled after season 2 but due to DVD sales, they continued the series with season 3. Was this true? (any links would be appreciated).
