What is your favourite end-of-season shock/cliffhanger

Season 1 - "Mom?": Sydney finds out who 'The Man' really is
Season 2 - "Why are you wearing that ring?": Sydney wakes up 2 years later
Season 3 - "You were never supposed to see this": Sydney finds....something
Season 4 - "My name's not Micheal Vaughn": Sydney and Vaughn crash
Season 5 - They all live happily ever after (well, the ones who didn't die)

Before The Flood was my least favorite finale, so even though the crash was intense I cant give it the best. Season 1 finale was okay, but just that. Season 5 wasnt shocking, it was satisfying
Which leaves 2+3. I liked both. I like the shock of S3 better, its not the episodes cliffhnagers fault that season 4 failed at coming up with the reason of what Sydney found.

I'll say the finale of season 4. It was really great episode and love everything about it. It was just perfect.

For the second place I'll choose season 3 finale. It was interesting and absolutely amazing!

And the third place is for season 5 finale. It has all what a series finale can want – it completed all the storylines and it had a happy end.

But it's really hard to compare them. I love them all.

1. Season 2. What a twist that was. In my opinion the 2 year twist was one of the best twists on television ever. Plus, it should be put in consideration that it truly changed the series as a whole.
2. Season 4. Very sudden, unexpected, really adrelaine pumping, intense. While the twist itself wasn't as "revolutionary" as season 2's, much of the shock value made up for it. ALTHOUGH... unfortunately, the cliffhanger didn't have much effect on season 5.
3. Season 5. No cliffhanger,only satisfaction. It was amazing.Such a great way to end a great show.
4. Season 1. Not very surprising, or anything, but it made the season complete.
5. Season 3. Bad. The problem is the writers when they did season 3, wanted something different from the ending. Then, when they wrote s4e1, they altered this idea. So... whatever.

Season 2's cliffhanger, I was just very shocked when I first watched that episode, also, "The Telling" is my favourite Alias episode.

I have to say that I had watched many End of Season, but nothing can beat the Alias 's Cliffhanger. My favorite is Season 2's cliffhanger, I loved the whole episode, and when I thought that nothing could surprise me after Sydney-Allison's fight, Sydney wakes up two years later and Vaughn is married. I coudn't believe it. I wanted to throw out my TV.

It was a close tie for me between Season 2 and 4. Season 2 was a great slow reveal because we're with Syd as she's waking up and totally in her mind so we don't know why Vaughn is acting so weird until it clicks in Syndey's head. Season 4 was a big bang cliffhanger where everything felt like it was happening so fast.
I don't think anybody has beaten Alias in the season ender cliffhangers.
